Pesticide Exposures

Fungicides kill or slow the growth of fungi and their spores. They can be used on plants or other surfaces where mold or mildew grow.

Exposure and Risk

People may be exposed to fungicides by breathing in, eating, or drinking the product, or by touching plants or surfaces that have recently been treated.

Preventing fungal growth is the most effective way to prevent
exposure to fungicides. Read tips for preventing fungal
diseases in plants and garden sanitation.
